Review summary

CONS: Water turned off twice both times during a shower covered in soap- was given two bottles of room temp water to rinse off with each time... Toilets stopped flushing first day in port interesting with five people in a room... Was scolded past suite concierge for asking for an fe at 9:05 when the delivery service ends at ix "I'll get information technology this one time but next time exist aware of the schedule" Interrupted at EVERY repast by people trying to push specialty restaurants Traveling with a child who expected a towel animal (we saw them in other suites) asked our steward iii times he promised each fourth dimension make one and never did... Signed kid up for late night child care which was cancelled at he last min because only ane other child signed up and that was not enough to warrant the staff staying ruined our dinner and show plans they called united states at 10:30 asking us to pick him up immediately when we arrived at the kids klun they all started clapping as if to say finally which fabricated u.s. feel like jerks! - likewise signed child upward for specialty Kids Klub dinner when we showed up at the drop off time we were told it had been moved to an hour earlier and they forgot the telephone call peoples rooms to permit them know...they stated they only realized when 2 kids showed up and they thought information technology was weird but too late to prepare information technology... The wonderful Chocolate cafe once held in the main dinning room which was a sight to behold was moved to the regular cafeteria cafe and was distressing to say the least... Merely two working female person toilets at the pool expanse- I doubtable lots of peeing in the pool was going on with the waiting line at the toilets People need to be cutting off Before they stat puking on the pool deck, spinnakers lounge or in front of the elevator!!! Buffet meals were tired and many were obvious concoctions of yesterdays left overs- practice not eat the previously powdered scrambled eggs take a few actress min to have eggs made fresh at the omelet station Second City'southward one-act routine (other than the meliorate) was word for give-and-take the aforementioned routine I saw on my cruise last year...Seriously?? PROS: Island was beautiful, pool bar staff were very friendly and attentive, pool was crowed at times only we always establish chairs and tables when we wanted one, Aqua, Bamboo, Venetian and Cagney'due south (if y'all take a suite have advantage of the breakfast and tiffin options hither) were delicious!!

Buffet was deplorable same one-time same old each day- Topsiders had nifty burgers and chips for lunch pool BBQ was nothing special lots of veggie salads with burger and dogs Groovy dinners at Aqua and Venetian don't waste the $5 on room service pizza its cardboard

Entertainment

The show we saw was erstwhile- saw it last year and then we skipped the rest. The television didn't work all week not that I'm on a cruise to watch Television but it would exist dainty as your going to bed of to catch the news in the am. Had to beg bar staff to put on the pats game your leaving from Boston shouldn't that be a given?

Children's Programs

Child (11) had a ton of fun there all week he was erstwhile enough to come and go as he pleased which made it very easy for all of us. Disappointed at the cancelling of ii activities concluding min that disrupted our adult plans...

Service and Staff

Butler(Crisol) and concierge (Virginia) for the suite was a joke neither got a tip out of us considering they were either nonexistent or unhelpful and rude. Room Steward (Everton) was wonderful other than forgetting the towel animal he was very helpful with isle and ship tips Pool staff (Emmanuel and Angus) were great very attentive but I heard from another guest that their puddle waiter was hitting on her all week fifty-fifty following her to her room at i point saying "Oh I thought you want me to bring your drink hither...well maybe we can meet off the ship tonight I get off at midnight wanna encounter at the clock tower?!?"

Ship Quality

Make clean though a bit worn out, missing the art room, fantail dining, developed hot tub at the kids puddle atrium is no extant its a closed in one story surface area not as open and g equally nearly others

Cabin / Stateroom

Sprung for the family suite for the extra room and the suite perks...Not WORTH IT the "creative person rendering" they evidence on the web site is just that a "rendering" did not represent to actual space of the room nosotros would have been improve off with two insides or balconies for much less money

Pros: Easy and fast embarking/disembarking

Cons: Concierge and butler for the suite was a joke

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? No.
